TLDR

• Engineered the satellite’s end-to-end image data stream for lossy laser and RF payload links.

• Implemented encoding and decoding pipelines with compression, error correction, and encryption so chunks could survive interrupted or corrupted transfers.

• Integrated low-level USB/UART drivers on Linux using FTD2XX and Xilinx tooling for custom baud rates and robust streaming.
